(Opinion) Is it normal for a man to hit a woman under any circumstances?

According to the Bible, it is wrong for men to hit women in any situation or circumstances. American actress Whoopi Goldberg in a TV shows explained that the only situation where a man is allowed to hit a woman is when she hits the man. She gave an example where a man hit a woman and knocked her out after she hit him first.

She hinted that if you hit someone, their first instinct might be to hit you back. Women should be taught not to hit men and vice versa. She also hinted on a scenario where a particular young boy was taught not to hit any woman, but the girl keeps hitting him all the time. A day will come when the boy will have to retaliate.

I don't think that idea is still in place especially in this generation, if a woman hits a man, don't be surprised he will hit you back. You hit somebody , he hits you back.

Conclusively, women must be taught to respect men in any situation or circumstances so as to earn respect and love in return from men.
